About EDU HUSTLE

EDU HUSTLE was founded by Cedric Scott, Jr. in 2022 to provide support to fellow educators through shared community, resources, and opportunities. The mission is to guide educators to maximizing their time, talent, and earning potential.
"I did some travel for work and found out that I caught COVID-19 when I returned home. Unfortunately, this led to quarantining from my family for 14 days. So, I thought about the best use for the time and how I could be of help to others. My mind immediately went to the needs of educators and EDU HUSTLE was born.”
Cedric Scott, Jr., M.Ed. is a former chemist, teacher, instructional coach, and assistant principal currently working in education technology (EdTech).
Cedric enjoys being a work-from-home dad to his son and husband to his wife, who is also an educator. He is also the author of his self-published narrative, "Grade 3 to AP: Memoirs of a Black Male Educator” and the creator of "Melanated Mathematics;" math and financial literacy content in the context of black history and culture.
Cedric has also established the Julia Elizabeth Legacy Scholarship Fund in honor of his mother whom he lost to breast cancer as a child. This fund has awarded annual STEM scholarships since 2022.
